Qualifications
- JD and active license to practice law in any U.S. state or DC; must obtain Arkansas, Indiana, or Minnesota licensure within 18 months.
- 2–3 years of experience in utility, energy, or regulatory law (FERC or state utility experience preferred).
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills; ability to interpret complex regulatory documents.
Responsibilities
- Support federal and state regulatory functions, including FERC filings.
- Review and revise MISO Tariff and Business Practices Manuals.
- Advise on laws, rulings, and regulations; provide risk mitigation solutions.
- Collaborate with business personnel to support objectives.
- Provide real-time legal insights at stakeholder meetings.
- Assist with state regulatory matters as required.
- Contribute to regulatory projects as needed.
