Job summary

The role requires at least a bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience, with strong communication, risk management, and auditing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 6 years of experience in related field.
• Strong communication and management preferred.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and risk management preferred.
• Auditing and financial industry regulations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as enterprise-level subject matter expert on assigned Paychex products and services, including laws/regulations, enacted and proposed legislation, official guidance, trends, and industry best practices applicable to assigned area of responsibility.
• Partners with Compliance leadership and senior management to ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and international regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Develops and maintains constructive relationships with internal and external partners to minimize compliance costs and communicate needs.
• Leads management of external regulators, agencies, vendors, and other key parties; represents the company in industry groups/coalitions.
• Leads formulation of department policies, strategic plans, and standards within the Compliance function.
• Manages complex compliance projects and guides teams to support strategic initiatives.
• Conducts research on regulatory risks and proposes changes to products or services.
• Provides risk analysis and mitigation measures to internal partners as needed.
