Job summary

Amazon Leo seeks a Sr. Eng, Intl WRC Strategy in Arlington, VA to develop and execute strategies for spectrum and satellite orbit use. You will work with ITU study groups, coordinating with engineering, licensing, and legal teams to advance Leo’s regulatory objectives and protect assets.

The role requires deep knowledge of ITU Radio Regulations, satellite architectures, and ability to communicate complex solutions to regulators and multilateral bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Space Vehicle/Satellite Operations or related.
• 3+ years in satellite system, spectrum management or data analysis.
• Experience applying ITU Radio Regulations.
• Experience developing technical studies within regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute technical and advocacy strategies to support Leo ITU objectives.
• Create tools and analyses for ITU study initiatives and regulatory filings.
• Participate in ITU study groups and other regulatory bodies to advance spectrum strategies.
• Analyze satellite filings, spectrum allocations, and sharing studies.
• Communicate spectrum and regulatory considerations to design, licensing, and legal teams.
• Communicate tradeoffs, risks, and opportunities to remove bottlenecks.
