Job description

Senior Regulatory Advisor (Administrator IV) provides administrative, policy, and organizational support to the Director of the Office of Regulation and Policy Coordination within the Maryland Department of Health Office of the Secretary. The role supports regulatory and policy activities across MDH programs including Medicaid, Public Health, health care quality, and occupational licensing boards. Key responsibilities include managing Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR), researching and drafting health policy, and implementing system-wide regulatory changes.

Key qualifications:
  • Six years of administrative staff or professional work experience (or equivalent education substitutions)
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Experience with and understanding of Maryland's regulatory process
