The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks registered nurses for MAGNET facilities. You will provide patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet age-appropriate needs.

You will lead assigned team members, coordinate care, and participate in shared governance to promote clinical excellence and a healthy work environment. BLS certification is required, and SC nursing licensure or a compact license is necessary.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred unless current MUSC employee.
• RN staff hired on or after July 1, 2013 with an Associate or Diploma degree in nursing are required to be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two years and obtain BSN within four years.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Directs and leads other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
