Job summary

DJM Investments is seeking a hands-on Regional Property Manager to own the operating performance of our multifamily portfolio in Central Indiana and to lead the lease-up and stabilization of Summit of Shelbyville, a new 72-unit market-rate community.

The role requires new-construction market-rate lease-up experience, 3+ years in multifamily property management, and the ability to build strong on-site teams, implement scalable operating playbooks, and report progress to ownership.

Qualifications

• Proven new-construction, market-rate multifamily lease-up experience is required.
• 3+ years of progressive multifamily property-management experience preferred.
• Experience managing a significant apartment community or multi-site portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Shelbyville Lease-Up from pre-leasing through stabilization.
• Oversee portfolio operations across Lebanon, Tipton, Kokomo, and Shelbyville.
• Coach and hold site teams accountable; establish weekly operating cadence.
• Maintain portfolio scorecards and drive occupancy, rent growth and collections.
• Ensure proactive marketing, pricing, and leasing strategies to meet 95% occupancy.
