What You’ll Do
Driving Sales

  • Own district performance: Build district forecasts, establish clear priorities, and translate business insights into focused actions that drive consistent performance.
  • Activate local opportunities: Leverage product launches, seasonal moments, community engagement, and customer insights to maximize district sales and brand awareness.
Building and Developing Teams
  • Lead through coaching: Develop Store Experience Leaders through coaching, questions, guidance, and accountability, creating leaders who can independently solve problems and lead their teams effectively.
  • Maintain a strong field presence: Spend the majority of time in stores, ensuring every visit is purposeful, developmental, and focused on follow-through.
  • Attract and retain top talent: Build leadership teams that combine strong selling capability, operational excellence, and an authentic connection to the customers and communities YETI serves.
  • Build bench strength for growth: Develop Assistant Store Experience Leaders and Store Experience Leaders who are ready to take on expanded responsibilities and support future store growth.
  • Establish accountability: Set clear expectations, recognize strong performance, and address performance concerns quickly, consistently, and fairly.
Operations
  • Drive operational excellence: Partner with Home Office teams to ensure consistent execution of labor planning, scheduling, visual merchandising, compliance, inventory management, shrink control, and new store openings.
  • Influence across the business: Build strong partnerships with field peers and cross-functional partners, bringing the voice of the store forward while securing the support needed to drive results.
  • Provide field insight: Share customer, product, and market feedback with Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, and Operations to strengthen business decisions and improve execution.
  • Remove barriers to performance: Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and create more time for leaders and teams to focus on selling and serving customers.
What You Bring
  • 10+ years of progressive retail experience, ideally within a CPG or consumer brand environment
  • 5+ years leading multiple retail stores, including developing store leaders across a geographic district
  • Demonstrated success building high-performing selling cultures and driving conversion, average sale, and units per transaction
  • A coaching-oriented leadership style that develops others through guidance, accountability, and continuous feedback
  • Experience hiring, developing, and making difficult talent decisions
  • Strong business acumen, including the ability to interpret performance data, forecast results, and effectively manage labor and expenses
  • Ability to influence partners across functions and build strong working relationships without direct authority
  • Passion for the outdoors and the YETI brand
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout North America (including Canada)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
How Success Is Measured
  • A visible and sustainable selling culture built around discovery, storytelling, and customization
  • Growth in conversion, average sale, units per transaction, sales, and profitability against plan
  • Forecast accuracy and consistent execution against business commitments
  • Strength of the leadership bench and readiness to support future store growth
