Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 10 years of related experience, with at least 3 years in supervisory/management roles.
• Travel may be required; frequency contingent on duties and workload.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Manages and administers the estimating functions in the assigned region to include budgets, staffing and work assignments.
• Implements established estimating policies to meet corporate objectives.
• Coordinates with project managers to provide admin and technical support in negotiating POs, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Supervises preparation of market cost studies, materials and methods, and recommends changes to the database.
• Reviews project details and provides recommendations; collaborates on strategies, techniques and resources.
• Coordinates with design leads for cost effectiveness and constructability in proposals.
• Ensures standardized use of estimating systems and maintains cost database.
• Maintains historical data for estimating man-hours across estimate types (hard bid, design/build, CM at risk, etc.).
