Job summary

CareOne is seeking a Senior Regional Business Office Manager in Concord, MA to lead financial operations across centers in the region. You will oversee billing, collections, payroll-related procurement, and workforce management while ensuring compliance with Medicaid and Medicare processes.

Your role includes training, financial analysis, and supporting interview processes for Business Office staff, with travel within the region as required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience; at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Revenue management and AR oversight for centers within region, including billing/collections practices and revenue adjustments.
• Provide training on Procurement, Workforce Management, Census management and A/R; training to include PCC, FI electronic claims submission/remittance, Medicaid systems, EMDEON and Casamba interface.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses to provide financial insights for center operations.
• Support the Business Office Manager and Administrator in the interview process for new hires in Business Office.
• Assist in pre-survey reviews and resolution of survey issues.
• Monitor Medicare Bad Debt processes and logs; ensure records are complete.
• Monitor integrity of the Resident Trust Account.

Now Hiring – Senior Regional Business Office Manager – Concord, MA
(CENTER or BUILDING)
The Senior Regional Business Office Manager is the key financial resource in support of the Business Office for the specific region assigned. Such oversight consists of P & L analysis and reporting and supervisory responsibilities of each center's Business Office Managers as it relates to the center's financial cycles including billings, collections, procurement of goods and services and workforce management/payroll.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Revenue Management and Accounts Receivable oversight for centers within region including billing and collection practices/guidelines ensuring timely and accurate billing, enforcement of collection practices/guidelines and compliant approval for revenue adjustments and bad debt write-offs.
• Provide training/reinforcement on all business cycles including Procurement, Workforce Management, Census management and A/R. A/R training to include PCC, FI electronic claim submission/remittance programs, state specific Medicaid billing systems, EMDEON and Casamba interface.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis in order to provide needed financial insights to assist in the financial analysis of operations of each center.
• Support of the Business Office Manager and Administrator in the interview process of any new hire in Business Office.
• Participate in the pre-survey reviews at center in preparation for yearly surveys and assist in resolution of a survey issues.
• Monitor the Medicare Bad Debt Process including the review of completed logs and backup documentation.
• Monitor for the integrity of the Resident Trust Account

Position Requirements

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in health care required; with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of SNF health care billing requirements and accounts receivable management and financial applications.
• Experience with Medicare and Medicaid processes and regulations.
• Willingness to travel as required within region.
