Job summary

CoolSys is hiring a technician to support repair and overhaul of refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems. You will work on compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices, with emphasis on safe, timely, and accurate service.

You will perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and documentation, while assisting with case installations and minor constructions. Valid EPA certification and 5+ years in commercial refrigeration are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA refrigeration certification required.
• Trade/vocational certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment.
• Repair and overhaul components like compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Test systems and maintain records of work performed.
• Process job tickets and service orders; support by installing cases and performing minor installations.
• Operate a company vehicle safely; support on-call duties as required.
