Job summary

Amazon's new Refrigeration Engineering Standards Program Manager will own the refrigeration design standards across prototypes and construction projects, acting as a bridge between the department and the wider organization.

You will drive cost reduction, energy conservation, and sustainability goals while coordinating with 3P consultants, MEP/R and Controls teams to ensure design accuracy and alignment with company criteria. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent refrigeration experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems design, installation and maintenance focusing on refrigeration design and controls.
• Experience managing stakeholders, schedules, budgets, and 3P engineering consultants.

Responsibilities

• Own refrigeration engineering design standards and update them with cross-functional partners.
• Manage equipment specifications and design coordination to meet cost targets.
• Lead cost reduction, energy conservation, and sustainability initiatives.
• Cultivate relationships with 3P engineering consultants and oversee engineering documents.
• Provide site inspections and technical support across Pre-Construction, Design, Construction, and Operations.
