The role requires 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience, EPA certification, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. On-call availability and independent work are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA refrigeration certification.
• 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience with store/supermarket display cases is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Emergency on-call availability required.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul equipment to meet customer needs in a timely and accurate manner.
• Repair refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment including air conditioners, water pumps, and compressors.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Test systems and components using electrical/mechanical methods.
• Maintain legible records of work history and tickets.
• Support by processing job tickets and work orders promptly.
• Assist with picking up, delivering, and installing cases.
• Participate in minor construction and start-ups of new installations.
• Drive company vehicle safely.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
