Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair within its Refrigeration HVAC equipment team at local Walmart facilities. The role uses commercial HVAC skills across hand, digital, and power tools to complete jobs in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include responding to emergency maintenance, inspecting facilities and equipment, documenting repairs in the Work Order system, and ensuring OSHA/EPA compliance.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• 18+ with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Use the work order system to receive and document repair work orders and support Stores and associates.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, ascend/descend ladders, and work at heights frequently.
