Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support repair of Refrigeration/HVAC systems at our Fallston, MD stores. You will oversee and perform repairs using commercial tools, coordinate with Stores and Store associates, and respond to emergencies to keep facilities running smoothly.

Requirements include 10 years of HVAC/refrigeration experience, large-scale rack refrigeration expertise, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, and a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration/HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and various hand/power/digital tools.
• Use work order system to manage repair tasks for stores and associates and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, diagnose, and test facilities, equipment or fixtures.
• Complete required safety and equipment operation training.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart policy and guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.

Education

EPA Certification (Type I/II or Universal)

High School Diploma

Valid driver's license
