Job summary

CHS Inc. seeks an experienced Process Engineer for our McPherson, KS refinery site. You will oversee daily operations, optimize refinery process units, and ensure quality and timely delivery. Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, leading MOC and PHAs, and analyzing performance data to drive improvements. Candidates should have a chemical engineering degree and relevant oil refining experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
2+ years of experience in Oil Refining Process or related field is required.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
Familiarity with SAP and process simulation software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Review daily operations and track key performance indicators.
Review and walk down technical drawings such as P&IDs, Isometrics, and PFDs.
Lead or participate in MOC reviews, PSSRs, PHAs, and PSM audits as needed.
Track heat and mass transfer equipment performance and report findings.
Collaborate with industry experts to monitor catalyst performance and report to stakeholders.
Foster open communication and drive continuous process improvements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
