Job summary

HF Sinclair in Anacortes, WA seeks a Capital Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of refinery capital projects exceeding $1MM to $5MM in total installed cost. You will manage scope, estimates, schedules, design, equipment selection, bidding, construction oversight and change control, while ensuring safety and environmental compliance across multiple simultaneous projects.

The role requires a minimum of ten years in project management, a Bachelor's in engineering, and PE registration preferred

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressive project management experience.
• PE registration and refinery or petrochemical background preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent combination.
• Knowledge of industry standards (API, ASME, NFPA, OSHA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage a large portfolio of multidisciplinary capital projects.
• Oversee engineering contractors and field activities for assigned projects.
• Develop project scopes, budgets and ROM cost estimates.
• Prepare execution plans, specifications, contracts and gate documents.
• Coordinate safety, environmental, and operability considerations throughout projects.
