Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Reference Data Specialist within the Foreign Exchange Operations team to safeguard settlement life cycles by authenticating SSIs, maintaining client reference data, and resolving exceptions promptly.

You will partner with Operations and cross-functional stakeholders to reduce risk and drive operational excellence across FX, fixed income, and derivatives. You will work in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment with exposure to market products while complying with

Qualifications

• Strong ownership and responsibility for settlement data.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and FX workflows.
• Excellent communication across organizational levels.

• Experience maintaining SSIs and client reference data.

Responsibilities

• Authenticate settlement instructions and verify accuracy.
• Create, update, and approve Standard Settlement Instructions.
• Maintain high-quality client reference data across systems.
• Investigate and resolve potential payment risks or errors.
• Provide timely support while adhering to global transfer policies.
• Monitor workflows, resolve breaks, and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with Operations to resolve inquiries and escalations.
• Apply knowledge of financial markets to support settlements.
• Demonstrate ownership and end-to-end task accountability.
• Use analytical skills to manage moderately complex scenarios.
