Handshake is hiring a Senior Recruiter to lead hiring for strategic business and operations roles. You’ll partner closely with senior management to shape and scale critical functions that power Handshake AI's next phase of growth.

This role requires a background in hiring strategy and business operations, translating evolving needs into effective hiring strategies. You’ll be a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the business and a key contributor to building high-performing, mission-aligned

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience for strategic business and operations roles (e.g., BizOps, Corporate Strategy, Finance, Legal, Marketing).
• Strategic acumen to contextualize roles within the broader business and influence scoping.
• Executive partnership with senior leaders; guide decisions with data and insights.
• Sourcing mastery using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, CRM, and industry networks.
• Process-oriented with ATS experience (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse) and structured workflows.
• Analytical mindset to track, report, and iterate on recruiting funnel metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for compelling outreach and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture pipelines for hard-to-fill positions across multiple locations.
