Job summary

Handshake is hiring a Senior Recruiter to lead hiring for strategic business and operational roles. You’ll partner with senior management to shape and scale functions powering Handshake AI’s growth. This role requires background in hiring strategy and business operations, and you’ll advise stakeholders across the business.

The position requires working five days in-office at our Seattle office, with end-to-end recruitment, market intelligence, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience for strategic BizOps, Finance, Legal, Marketing roles.
• Strong business operations knowledge and ability to contextualize roles within the org.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and guiding decisions with data.
• Sourcing for niche/hard-to-fill roles using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and CRM.
• Familiar with structured recruiting environments and ATS optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for strategic business and operations roles.
• Build candidate pools for hard-to-fill key roles and source in multiple locations.
• Provide market insights on compensation trends and competitive dynamics.
• Drive recruiting process improvements and track key metrics.
• Ensure a high-quality, values-aligned candidate experience.
