Job summary

AMS is seeking a Senior Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for our pharmaceutical organization. You will partner with hiring managers and leadership to attract, assess, and hire top talent across R&D and related functions.

This role requires strong sourcing, market insight, and stakeholder management to deliver high-quality pipelines and a positive candidate experience, while ensuring compliance and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an RPO environment supporting client-based hiring.
  • Experience recruiting in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, or medical devices.
  • Proven ability to consult and influence hiring managers.
  • Experience using ATS and recruitment CRM tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment process from requisition to onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define profiles and hiring strategies.
  • Source candidates via LinkedIn, networking, referrals, job boards, and industry channels.
  • Screen candidates and assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Present shortlisted candidates and provide recruitment recommendations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interview processes with hiring teams.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Utilize labor market insights to advise on talent availability and compensation trends.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate records in ATS.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and talent attraction campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and recruitment best practices.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment efforts across our pharmaceutical organization. The Senior Recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to identify, attract, and hire top talent across areas including Research & Development. This individual will serve as a trusted talent advisor, utilizing market intelligence and innovative sourcing strategies to deliver high-quality talent pipelines and exceptional candidate experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from requisition intake through offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, define candidate profiles, and develop hiring strategies.
  • Source and attract passive and active candidates through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, job boards, and industry-specific channels.
  • Conduct candidate screenings and assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Present qualified candidate shortlists and provide recruitment recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interview processes with hiring teams.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Utilize labor market insights and competitive intelligence to advise hiring managers on talent availability and compensation trends.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Support employer branding initiatives and talent attraction campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and recruitment best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) environment supporting client-based hiring initiatives.
  • Experience recruiting within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, or medical device industries.
  • Demonstrated success hiring for specialized and hard-to-fill roles across Clinical, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Commercial, and Corporate functions.
  • Strong direct sourcing and talent mapping experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms.
  • Proven ability to consult and influence hiring managers and business stakeholders.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Combination of agency and in-house/RPO recruiting experience.
  • Experience supporting hiring for global pharmaceutical organizations.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry talent markets, competitive landscapes, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers on workforce planning and talent strategy.
