The Senior Recruiter plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s mission by strategically attracting, selecting, and hiring top-tier technical talent for the construction consulting industry. As a key member of the team, the Senior Recruiter leverages diverse channels – including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals to source and attract candidates. They are instrumental in achieving the Strategic Plan’s growth objectives and oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle.

Essential Functions
- Establish, develop, and execute recruiting plans by studying organization objectives; meeting with area Directors/Managers to discuss needs and isolating difficult areas of attracting talent.
- Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employees. Determines applicant requirements by studying the job description and job qualifications.
- Proactively source and engage talent through job boards like LinkedIn, while strategically building and maintaining a pipeline of passive candidates.
- Partner with hiring manager to determine staffing needs.
- Along with the Head of HR, work with the immigration attorney to smoothly transition intercompany and visa status candidates to long-term visa status.
- Screen all resumes, interview candidates (by video conference, telephone, or in person), administer appropriate assessments, reference/background checking, make recommendations for hire (or not hire), and deliver employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings. Deliver only qualified candidates to the hiring manager after the screening process is complete.
- Serve as an expert for recruiting candidates within any RLB office location.
- Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc.
- Develop advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
- Manage internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interview with hiring manager, transfer offer letter, etc.
- Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status.
- Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
- Communicate important employment information during delivery of employment offers (i.e., benefits, compensation, non-competition agreements, etc.).
- Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including EEOC compliance.
- Assist in the onboarding process to ensure a successful integration into RLB’s culture.
- Manage current candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Manage application/resume file and retention per company policy.
- Maintain memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to the industry.
- Contribute to team performance through collaboration and effective communication.
- Contribute to and understand the client's desired project outcomes, identifying opportunities to add value to accomplish the desired outcomes.
- Add to team effort by accomplishing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR, Management, or related experience. AEC industry experience is preferred.
Minimum Experience required: 5 years of technical recruiting or of specialized knowledge candidates.
Skills Required: Excellent oral and written communication skills; phone skills, recruiting, interviewing skills, people skills, supports diversity, employment law, results-driven, professionalism, and good judgment.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Indoor office environment. May require work on site location when necessary.
Equipment used includes: computers and standard office machines.
Essential physical tasks include: the ability to work on a computer and the ability to answer and speak on a telephone.
