Job summary

Longship is a fast-growing third-party logistics company headquartered in Lexington, KY. We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting across all locations, acting as a strategic talent acquisition partner to attract, assess, and hire top talent for Longship's growth.

The role requires building candidate pipelines, sourcing passive talent, conducting comprehensive interviews, and leading offer negotiations while ensuring a positive candidate experience and strong

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
• Proven ability to source, cold-call, and influence top talent
• Experience managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interviewing, assessment and relationship-building skills
• Advanced sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed Resume; familiarity with ATS and MS Office

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting efforts across all locations. This individual will serve as a strategic talent acquisition partner, helping attract, assess, and hire top talent to support Longship's continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process – recruiting top talent to efficiently & effectively fill open positions


• Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs


• Proactively source passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, networking events, referrals, professional organizations, and industry-specific recruiting channels


• Conduct phone screens, virtual interviews, and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications, culture fit, and long-term potential


• Lead offer presentation, negotiation, and closing efforts to secure top talent


• Ensure positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process


• Build relationships with colleges, universities, professional associations, and community organizations

Qualifications

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience


• Proven track record of successfully sourcing, cold calling and influencing top-performing talent


• Experience managing multiple open requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment


• Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and relationship-building skills


• Advanced sourcing experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume, and other talent acquisition tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)


• Experience analyzing recruiting metrics and implementing process improvements.


• Demonstrated ability to influence hiring decisions and build strong partnerships with leadership teams.

Preferred Experience

• Bachelors Degree


• Agency recruiting, staffing, or executive search experience strongly preferred


• Experience recruiting for sales, operations, leadership, or corporate positions.


• Experience within transportation, logistics, supply chain, staffing, or related industries.
