Job summary

City of Dublin is seeking a Recreation Leader to assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of recreational, social, and educational programs for older adults across multiple centers. The role supports a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging environment that promotes wellness and active aging.

Under supervision, you will help set up rooms, greet participants, assist instructors, monitor safety, and handle registrations and basic cash handling.

Qualifications

• No formal education is required; two years of high school or equivalent desirable.
• Desirable experience includes cash handling, cashiering, or working with children in supervised programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of recreation programs at parks, community centers, and events.
• Help lead activities for various age groups including seniors.
• Set up and take down equipment and spaces for programs and events.
• Provide customer service by greeting participants and answering questions.
• Monitor safety and enforce rules and policies during programs.
• Complete attendance, registrations, and basic cash handling tasks.
