Overview

What You’ll Do
  • Ensure 100% compliance with Thomasville’s Project Concierge Playbook
  • Manage restoration projects ranging from $1,000 to $60,000
  • Oversee approximately 22–28 active projects at any given time
  • Create long- and short-term plans, including setting milestones and meeting deadlines
  • Break down project budgets across all trades and components of the restoration project
  • Advocate for additional insurance proceeds when necessary to secure funding
  • Delegate project tasks to in-house teams or subcontractors best suited for the job
  • Communicate consistently with homeowners and subcontractors to set expectations and maintain alignment
  • Coordinate with insurance adjusters and representatives to align on project goals, funding, and timelines
  • Provide weekly progress updates to the Thomasville team and insurance adjusters
  • Adjust schedules and targets as needed to ensure deadlines and profitability are met
  • Order and manage materials and equipment to keep projects on track
  • Collect and process change orders as required
  • Submit receipts and verify accuracy of job costing within QuickBooks
  • Make effective decisions when faced with multiple options to move projects forward
  • Use conflict resolution strategies to address challenges when they arise
  • Assist with collections, including deductibles, milestone payments, and signatures
Who You Are
  • Covers West Philly, West Chester, Reading, and Wilmington area
  • Experienced in managing construction or home improvement projects (3+ years required)
  • Knowledgeable in job cost analysis and profitability, preferably with QuickBooks
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and accountable for results
  • Skilled leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills (email, text, phone)
  • A problem‑solver with the ability to make independent decisions
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Customer‑service oriented, with the ability to build strong relationships with teammates, vendors, and homeowners
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook (Next Gear’s Dash project software or similar is a plus)
  • Empathetic, compassionate, and committed to high integrity and honesty
