Job summary

TREW in West Chester, OH is seeking a skilled Material Handler/Receiving to oversee and perform advanced material handling tasks, focusing on material flow, inventory control, team leadership, and process improvements within the warehouse.

The role requires forklift/reach truck experience, ERP/WMS familiarity, and supervision of a Material Handler Level I. Work schedule Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with overtime on Friday; exposure to warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of material handling experience in warehouse roles.
• 2+ years of receiving experience preferred.
• ERP/WMS receiving transactions experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts and cranes.
• Manage inventory levels with cycle counts and accurate records.
• Oversee picking, packing and labeling for accurate, on-time shipments.
• Lead warehouse layout optimization for space efficiency.
• Inspect materials for damage and manage disposition of non-conforming items.
• Mentor Material Handler Level I team members and drive training.
