Job summary

White Cap is seeking a qualified professional to coordinate rebar detailing and project coordination for fabrication jobs. You will supervise the detailing team, manage workloads, and ensure drawings meet engineering requirements.

Responsibilities include generating placement drawings for submittal, interfacing with customers and the Fabrication Manager on scheduling, and guiding entry-level detailers in CAD-based detailing. Experience with rebar detailing and CAD is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in rebar detailing or related field.
• BS/BA in a related discipline required; advanced degree offsetting experience may apply.
• Proven ability to supervise a team and coordinate with other groups (design, fabrication, customers).

Responsibilities

• Supervise detailing team workload and training.
• Coordinate rebar detailing drawings and ensure compliance with engineering requirements.
• Generate accurate placement drawings for submittal and field use.
• Communicate with customers and Fabrication Manager on scheduling and clarifications.
• Clarify reinforcing requirements with designers and customers as needed.
• Oversee review of plans to specify bending, cutting, and sizing of rebar.
