Job summary

White Cap is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the execution of rebar projects from setup through completion in a fast-paced construction environment. You will drive contract management, coordinate detailing, scheduling, delivery and costs, and ensure alignment with customer expectations.

Primary duties include reviewing shop drawings, directing revisions, scheduling with contractors and production teams, and answering customer questions.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline required; MS/MA preferred in some areas.
• Experience: 5-8 years in a related field; project management experience preferred.
• Ability to read structural and architectural drawings; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract management of each project, including detailing, scheduling, delivery and cost control.
• Lead the project team and coordinate steps to adapt schedules and tasks.
• Communicate project details to customers regarding detailing, fabrication and delivery.
• Review shop drawings and direct revisions as needed.
• Schedule detailing and delivery with contractors, detailers and production.
• Answer customer questions and resolve project-related issues.
• Perform special projects and other duties to support the organization.
