Job summary

Eagle Seven is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design and build systems that support firmwide positions, PnL, and risk services. These systems transform high-volume trading and market data into accurate, timely, and actionable information.

The ideal candidate enjoys building performance-sensitive distributed systems and has a strong commitment to reliability and sound software design. You will collaborate with traders, strategy developers, and engineers to develop infrastructure central

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of experience developing high-performance distributed systems.
Proficiency in modern C++ including multithreading and memory model expertise.
Experience with high message-rate or high-bandwidth systems.
Design fault-tolerant, highly available systems.
Relational database design and SQL, PostgreSQL preferred.
Linux/Unix, networking protocols TCP/IP, UDP, sockets.
Debugging and observability tools: GDB, Wireshark, tcpdump.
Strong written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsibilities

Developing high performance, highly available distributed systems.
