CHAOS Industries in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer (Python / FastAPI) to build the real-time backend powering radar-to-operator decisions. You will own backend services and data pipelines moving sensor data from radars in the field to operators who depend on it.

Responsibilities include high-performance Python services for real-time data, streaming, storage and replay of detections, and shaping platform architecture for future capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend Python experience.
• Experience building real-time or streaming data systems.
• End-to-end ownership of production systems.
