Job summary

Mach Industries is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead architecture and implementation of autonomous defense software. You will own end-to-end development across low-level firmware to high-level mission systems in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor engineers, drive secure coding practices, and collaborate with embedded, GNC, and systems teams to optimize performance, reliability, and scalability for real-time defense platforms.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in C++, Rust, Python, or C.
• 10+ years of experience leading large-scale software projects.
• Deep expertise in real-time software development and embedded systems.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, mission-critical software.
• Strong ownership and leadership with end-to-end delivery responsibility.
• Experience with RTOS, embedded platforms, and hardware-software co-design.
