Job summary

SingleStore is seeking a Solutions Engineer who is passionate about removing data bottlenecks for customers and enabling real-time data capabilities. You will work directly with our sales teams and channel partners to identify pain points and demonstrate value through proofs of concept and targeted demonstrations.

You must be comfortable in executive discussions as well as deep technical conversations, translating complex concepts into tangible business value and guiding customers to the right

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a technical pre-sales role.
• Ability to present to large corporate organizations.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Broad experience with large-scale database and data warehousing tech.
• Experience with data engineering tools such as Spark, Flink, Airflow.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to close new business (logos) and expand existing accounts.
• Design, develop, and deploy Proofs of Concept (POCs) with prospective customers.
• Drive the technical evaluation stage of the sales cycle, acting as the technical lead / SME (query tuning, load testing, etc.).
• Partner with internal teams (Product, Engineering) to share feedback on customer needs and requests.
