Job summary

Dexterity, Inc. in Redwood City is seeking a hands-on Staff Robotics Software Engineer to own the architecture of the mechatronics software stack, selecting, validating and building the SW interface for all hardware devices.

You will work with a talented team to meet the quality, performance, observability and real-time requirements for intelligent warehouse robotics applications, mentoring others and documenting best practices.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of mechatronics devices, distributed systems, and real-time software.
• Proven experience delivering production real-time C++ applications.
• Experience with Linux and modern C++ toolchains (build/CI, debuggers).

Responsibilities

• Architect and build the mechatronics software stack for Dexterity's warehouse robotics.
• Analyze requirements, review code, mentor developers and document best practices.
• Evaluate new technologies and improve tooling to enhance system performance and reliability.
