Job summary

CBRE in New York City is seeking a Senior Transaction Director to lead complex account transitions and deliver superior outcomes for clients in the Advisory and Transactions group. This hybrid role combines in-office collaboration with remote work to support high-profile real estate transactions.

You will mobilize new client accounts, set objectives, manage risks, and guide cross-functional teams through plans, budgets, and go-live deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration or related field.
• Real Estate License.
• Minimum 10 years of transaction management experience, with technology clients and portfolio strategy experience preferred.
• International/global work experience preferred.
• Process development expertise; ability to build governance playbooks and operational frameworks.
• Expert facilitation skills for meetings and workshops, internal and external.
• Strong project management, coaching, and consulting skills.
• Ability to lead multiple client transitions and manage ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Lead transaction management account transitions and oversee special projects for US-based accounts.
• Set transition objectives, KPIs, and ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Act as escalation point; capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
• Assist hand-off to Account Team and support stabilization post-transition.
• Participate in pursuit/solution processes and address transition roadblocks.
• Serve as SME for TM delivery and account management; guide new account teams.
• Develop transition strategy, budgets, and forecasting; ensure Go Live success.
