Job summary
We Are Legal Revolution is partnering with a prestigious Am Law 100 international firm seeking a mid to senior level Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its New York, NY office. The role focuses on sophisticated acquisitions, developments, financings, and joint ventures for major institutional investors and lenders.
You will work directly with senior lawyers in a collaborative, mentor‑led environment that emphasizes structured associate development and clear advancement on high‑profile
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of law firm real estate experience in sophisticated transactions.
- Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, and lender/borrower financings.
- Familiarity with joint ventures, portfolio transactions, REITs and real estate funds.
- New York Bar admission or eligible to waive into New York.
- Strong academic credentials from a top-100 law school.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support real estate acquisitions and dispositions of single assets and portfolios across asset classes.
- Handle construction and permanent financings for lender and borrower side real estate transactions.
- Draft and negotiate joint venture, fund, and REIT documentation and related organizational agreements.
- Structure and execute equity joint ventures, entity formations, and ownership structures.
- Partner closely with senior lawyers and clients, taking increasing responsibility for deal management and execution.
