SBA Communications in Boca Raton, FL, seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel, Mergers & Acquisitions (Real Estate) to provide end-to-end real estate support for high-volume M&A transactions, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and closing ground leases, easements, purchase agreements, and related documents. The role requires a JD from an accredited law school, active bar in at least one U.S.

jurisdiction, and 6–10 years of real estate law experience in a firm or in-house setting.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 6–10 years of experience practicing real estate law in a law firm or in-house.
• Strong title and survey analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review, negotiate, and redline real estate agreements including ground leases and tenant leases.
• Analyze title commitments, surveys and due diligence materials and propose cures if needed.
• Collaborate with the M&A team to identify and resolve due diligence issues.
• Manage transactions through closing with timely and accurate closings.
• Provide legal guidance on real estate questions and amendments to agreements.
• Supervise administrative staff and paralegals, and coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
