Jobot, hosting a NYC-based Real Estate Litigation Attorney role, seeks a candidate with 5+ years of experience to represent landlords, owners, developers in a broad spectrum of NY state and federal disputes. The position offers a competitive salary in the range of $220,000 to $250,000 per year and an excellent benefits package.

The successful attorney will handle all phases of litigation, including motions, depositions, discovery, hearings, and trials, and will collaborate with a dedicated team

Qualifications

5+ years of real estate litigation experience required.
Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.
Experience representing commercial landlords, owners, developers in NY state and federal courts.
Strong knowledge of New York civil practice and procedure.

Responsibilities

Litigate in all phases, including motions, depositions, discovery, hearings, trials and arbitrations.
Prepare witnesses for depositions, hearings, and trials; participate in trials/arbitrations.
Negotiate settlements and provide practical, business-oriented resolutions for clients.
Manage disputes involving commercial landlord-tenant matters, lease interpretation, contracts, title issues, and related real estate litigation.
