Job summary

Hines is seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst in Fund Management to analyze real estate investment opportunities and support the fund management team’s decision-making and management of key investments. You will assist Managing Directors in assessing acquisitions, asset management, and disposition recommendations.

The role requires strong Excel skills, quantitative abilities, and the ability to synthesize complex concepts for internal stakeholders across Finance, Research and Risk.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business, analytics or quantitative fields is required.
• Two+ years of related experience in commercial real estate or finance preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and quantitative skills are essential.
• Experience with investment underwriting, valuations, and hold/sell analyses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze real estate investment opportunities and support Fund Management decision making.
• Assist Managing Directors in assessing fund-level acquisitions, asset management, and dispositions.
• Prepare, maintain, and review asset and fund level reports.
• Provide analytical support for leasing and capital expenditure decisions.
• Create and review financial models for underwriting and valuations.
• Coordinate with Finance, Research, Risk and regional teams on major projects.
• Support senior team members in decision making and strategy execution.
• Handle special projects as needed.
