Job summary

Hines is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate in Fund Management to analyze real estate investment opportunities and support the Fund Management team’s decisions. You will prepare reports, build financial models, and coordinate with Finance, Research, Risk, and regional teams to advance major projects.

Qualifications include a BA/BS in business analytics or quantitative fields and 3+ years in real estate or finance, with strong communication and Excel/PowerPoint skills. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business, analytics, or quantitative fields.
• Three or more years of related experience in commercial real estate or finance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Distill complex concepts succinctly.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Quantitative skills and relationship building.
• Experience in office, multifamily or industrial real estate preferred.
• Understanding of real estate development process preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with review and execution of potential fund investments.
• Prepare and review recurring and ad-hoc asset and fund level reports.
• Provide analytical support for leasing and capex decisions.
• Create and review financial models for underwriting, valuations, hold/sell analyses.
• Use market intelligence to identify investment strengths and risks.
• Coordinate with Finance, Research, Risk and regional teams on projects.
• Support senior team members in decision-making and strategy execution.
• Coordinate and execute special projects as needed.
• Manage fund pipeline reports and investment materials for stakeholders.
