Job summary

Welltower is seeking a highly motivated accounting professional to support fund accounting, real estate private equity reporting, and investor communications for our private fund platform. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation and experience delivering high-quality reporting and analysis.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to maintain fund-level and property-level accounting, produce financial statements, NAV, capital account statements, and investor dashboards, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, Economics required.
• CPA or equivalent strongly desired; master's, CFA, or CAIA a plus.
• Experience in real estate private equity, fund accounting or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP, NACREIF, IFRS, INREV desirable.
• Hands-on with fair market value reporting, NAV calculations, and investor allocations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property-level, fund-level, and investor performance calculations (IRR, equity multiple, carry).
• Prepare quarterly/annual financial statements, footnotes, investor reports, and NAV statements.
• Consolidation and general ledger work for fund-level accounting under US GAAP and fair value basis.
• Support third-party valuation reports and fund-level reporting integration.
• Collaborate with investments, FP&A, treasury, tax, and capital markets teams to source/validate data.
• Prepare investment and fund reporting models; ensure accuracy of side letter reporting and data aggregation.
