Job summary

Transwestern Investment Group (TIG) in Dallas, TX, seeks a Senior Accountant to report to the Senior Vice President of Accounting and work with the investment team on financial, accounting, and tax compliance operations.

The position uses MRI/Yardi to maintain fund books, prepare GAAP financial statements, support audits and tax filings, and coordinate with third-party administrators and investors. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, real estate preferred.
• CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Vice President of Accounting in daily back-office processes.
• Prepare GAAP financial statements quarterly and annually.
• Manage fund-level accounting using MRI and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in oversight of third-party fund administrators and audits.
• Support tax compliance for private equity funds and separate accounts.
