Job summary
The NRP Group LLC seeks an experienced Real Estate Counsel to support development, construction, financing, and related transactions across our national portfolio. You will draft, review, negotiate real estate documents, advise on structure and risk, and help close complex deals with internal partners and external counsel. Ideal candidates hold a J.D.
from an accredited law school, an active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, and 5–8 years of related experience in commercial real estate.
Qualifications
- J.D. required from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 5–8 years of related legal experience in commercial real estate transactions.
- In-house experience preferred.
- LIHTC, HUD, or housing finance exposure a plus.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and project-management skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage real estate transactions from inception to closing.
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, development and financing documents.
- Advise on risk, structure, and closing readiness.
- Manage outside counsel and budget.
