Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Associate General Counsel in Minnesota to strengthen the legal team by supporting business goals while mitigating risk across real estate, leasing, and development transactions.

The role requires extensive experience in retail/office real estate and the ability to advise senior leadership, lead complex deals from LOI to closing, and collaborate with finance, operations, and other units. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• J.D. with strong academic credentials required.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in commercial retail/office real estate leasing and development.
• Expertise in negotiating leases, subleases, amendments, and related documents.
• Ability to lead complex real estate transactions from LOI through closing.

Responsibilities

• Provides advice and counsel to internal clients.
• Drafts and negotiates letters of intent, leases, purchase agreements, amendments, and related real estate documents.
• Reviews title, survey, and due diligence; leads deal execution with senior leadership.
