Job summary

ALO is seeking an experienced real estate attorney to establish and scale its business operations in EMEA, with a focus on Europe. This role requires a strategic, hands-on lawyer capable of operating independently in a fast-paced environment with limited existing infrastructure.

The position covers commercial leasing, construction, and ongoing real estate matters across ALO’s regional portfolio. The right candidate will partner with design, construction, finance, and operations to align legal

Qualifications

Law degree from a leading university with strong academic credentials.
Qualified to practice law in the UK or EU; U.S. bar qualification is a plus.
5–10 years of real estate legal experience in international or multinational settings.
Familiarity with Europe’s retail industries is a strong plus.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) required.

Responsibilities

Manage real estate legal matters for ALO across Europe, including leasing and construction.
Lead commercial leasing, construction contracts, and general real estate matters.
Partner cross-functionally with design, construction, finance and operations to align legal strategy with business goals.
Negotiate and manage external counsel, including scope and budget.
Provide timely, practical legal advice to senior leadership and stakeholders.
