The ideal candidate has 8+ years of U.S. real estate experience, strong drafting and analytical skills, experience with acquisitions, financings, leases and loan restructurings, and active DC Bar admission.

We are exclusively representing a leading AM Law 100 law firm on a confidential search for a Real Estate Senior Associate or Counsel to join its growing Real Estate Practice Group in Washington, D.C.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established U.S. law firm and work on sophisticated, high-value real estate transactions and development projects involving data centres across the United States.

The Role

The successful candidate will represent clients on complex real estate matters, including:

• Acquisitions and dispositions
• Commercial leasing
• Loan restructurings
• Data centre real estate transactions and development

The role will involve working with sophisticated clients on complex, nationally significant projects alongside an experienced and highly regarded real estate team.

The Candidate

We are seeking attorneys with:

• 8+ years of demonstrated U.S. real estate experience
• Significant experience with complex acquisitions, financings, leases, dispositions and/or project development
• Experience with loan restructurings
• Excellent drafting, writing and analytical skills
• Strong client management and communication skills
• A collaborative approach and strong work ethic
• Active admission to the District of Columbia Bar

Compensation

The target annual base salary range is $395,000–$425,000, depending on experience, skills, business requirements and market factors.

The total compensation package may also include discretionary bonuses, incentive compensation and firm-sponsored benefits.
