Job summary

AMD is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join its in-house real estate legal team in Austin, TX, focusing on data center, energy, and related financing transactions. You will own deals end-to-end, from diligence through structuring and execution, collaborating with Strategy, Treasury, Real Estate, and Engineering teams to align legal terms with AMD's technical and commercial goals.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in complex commercial real estate and data center transactions.
• Experience with capital markets and project finance transactions.
• Experience negotiating energy-related agreements and utility arrangements.
• Ability to manage multi-party deals in a fast-paced in-house environment.
• JD and bar admission required.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support across the full lifecycle of AMD's data center transactions, including site selection, leasing, and financing.
• Negotiate and structure credit support, guarantees, and other risk allocations.
• Support capital markets and structured finance activities for data center programs.
• Review power purchase agreements, interconnections, and utility arrangements.
• Advise on energy regulatory matters and regulatory risks affecting data center ops.
• Coordinate outside counsel and develop scalable templates for recurring deals.
