Job summary

Atoms is seeking a licensed real estate attorney to own and close complex deals spanning leases, ground leases, and sale agreements. You will partner with the acquisitions, development, and finance teams to translate risk into actionable business decisions.

The role emphasizes speed and rigor in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with opportunities to shape development, land use, and entitlements across facilities and charging depots.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• California bar admission strongly preferred.
• 6+ years of real estate transactional experience.

Responsibilities

• Own real estate deals end to end: drafts, negotiates, and closes leases, purchase and sale agreements, and ground leases.
• Support food and facility footprint: handle leasing, acquisitions, and build-outs behind kitchen and food production facilities.
• Build out smart infrastructure: manage land acquisitions, ground leases, build-to-suit agreements, and power upgrades for depots.
• Support mining and autonomy: handle leases and commercial agreements for autonomous haulage business.
