A well-established real estate management group is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee their accounting and financial operations in New York. This senior leadership role involves managing financial processes, guiding acquisitions, and providing insights to senior leadership. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, with a strong understanding of GAAP and relevant regulations. This full-time position requires effective stakeholder management and excellent analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience required.
• 3–4+ years in real estate accounting preferred.
• Knowledge of NYC and NY State real estate regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger activities and month-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and variance analysis.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and budgeting.
