Job summary

Exelon is seeking a senior lawyer to handle complex real estate and related commercial matters for the company. You will review and draft deeds, easements, licenses, and sale agreements, advising clients on commercial real estate issues.

The role partners with real estate clients to navigate commercial matters with sound judgment and strategic insight. You will support senior leadership, manage outside counsel relationships, and draft budgets and matter assessments.

Qualifications

• An LLB or JD from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdictions.
• At least 7 to 10 years of professional experience in a specialized area of law.
• Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of the legal field to the completion of complex assignments.
• Requires excellent legal research, analytical abilities and ongoing knowledge of federal or state law.
• Must have the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing under time deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Interpret policy, represent Exelon in transactions and proceedings.
