Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Corporate Real Estate CAPEX Project/Facility Operations Manager in Jefferson City, MO. You will lead a portfolio of construction and capital-improvement projects while supporting daily facility operations and safety standards.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to meet budget and schedule goals, expand your real estate strategy exposure, and advance energy‑sector infrastructure reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, facility management, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project management, construction, facility management, or related areas.
• On-site Monday–Friday at Jefferson City, MO location.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience using project management software, CRE tools, and AP systems.
• Certifications like CFM or PMP are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage a portfolio of construction and capital improvement projects within defined goals, scope, budget, and schedule.
• Oversee contract preparation and management, ensuring obligations and performance requirements are met.
• Monitor progress, schedule adherence, budget, and on-site quality through reviews and reporting.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to meet project specs.
• Support facility operations with budgeting, stakeholder management, and sustainable practices.
