Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in the Risk Management and Compliance organization seeks a Senior Real Estate Appraiser in the Valuation Services Group. You will deliver high-quality appraisals for multifamily and mixed-use properties and collaborate with a dedicated team to uphold rigorous quality standards.

You will interview market participants, analyze properties, and apply USPAP & FIRREA guidelines while maintaining timely, credible reports and ongoing market knowledge development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college.
• State Certified General Appraiser License.
• At least 3 years of experience appraising multifamily residential, mixed-use, or commercial properties.
• Strong analytical, business writing, and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Appraise multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial properties to estimate market value.
• Interview market participants for rent and sales surveys and analyze subjects.
• Manage time effectively to meet service level deadlines.
• Understand building construction types, hazards, zoning conditions as pertinent.
• Prepare reports that are complete, credible, and consistent with real estate methodologies.
